Sherry Hutson was born in Springfield Illinois, and has lived in New York and California. She is interested in Art, Technology, and Politics.
Sherry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Communication. She has over 25 years of experience in communication media, including video and multimedia production, public relations, Internet, and social media.
Her background in higher education includes teaching at De Anza College in Cupertino, California; Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois; and the University of Illinois Springfield.
She was co-producer of a long-running jazz performance television program in the San Francisco Bay Area; manager of marketing and promotions for Runner's World magazine; and Director of Web Services and Creative Services for the University of Illinois Springfield.
She has authored two books about Adobe Photoshop software; also, a fun book for anyone who wants to combine their interest in drawing with making art by themselves in their car; plus, she is the creator and co-editor of a book about the 2008 presidential election - King’s Dream: Barack Obama Becomes President of the United States.
